About The Airline
The face behind the airline is that of famous Sir Richard Branson. He founded the airline back in 1984. The airline has always been motivated to bring innovation to the industry. They were the first to offer individual televisions to their business class passengers.
It was in the early 1990's that the airline really began to take-off so to speak. Branson was probably most well known as the founder of Virgin Records. In '92 he sold the record company and a significant portion of those funds went into the airline.
The airline is now over 25 years old and well known for it's excellent service and unique and hip advertising campaigns.
