Southwest Airlines have non-stop flights to Seattle from Salt Lake. Southwest Airlines do not fly to Vancouver International Airport. Frontier Airlines have flights that connect in Denver, Colorado, which is their main airport hub. YVR is a major airport in Canada for International flights and the terminal is well laid out with excellent signage to guide you clearly through the baggage claim and customs process.
Once you have cleared customs and immigration you have many transportation choices. Taxis and limo service (limo service is not much more expensive) is available under cover just outside the arrivals exit. Public transit is and easy option with buses and the Canada Line Rapid Rail Transit. The Canada Line is a quick way to get to the city center. All major car rental companies are at the airport. The car rental location is on the ground floor of the parkade, a very short walk from the terminal. The only car rental with their office located off the premises of the airport is Enterprise Rent A Car.
