Arriving on Pender Island

There are two seaplane destinations on Pender Island. On North Pender, you will arrive at Port Washington. On South Pender you will arrive at Poets Cove - Bedwell Harbour.

Poets Cove is home to the luxurious Poets Cove Resort and Spa. South Pender is the less populated of the two islands and it is here where you will find lovely hiking trails. One hike will take you to the top of Mt Norman where you will find breathtaking views. Another popular hike is the trail that follows the canal to Beaumont Marine Park.

North Pender is more populated and this is where the community hall, Driftwood Mall, the health clinic, library and elementary school are located. There is not a lot of action on Pender, but this is where the heart of the community lies.
